THE VTS HAS DETERMINED THAT PASSAGE AROUND ALGIERS POINT IS UNSAFE BASED UPON REDUCED VISIBILITY AND IS CLOSED TO ALL MARITIME TRAFFIC.  THE RIVER TRAFFIC LIGHTS AT GRETNA, MM 96.6, RDB AND GOVERNOR NICHOLS, MM 94.3, LDB ARE SHOWING ALL RED.
