NWS/NOAA 

Hurricane Michael is now a Category 2 hurricane and is expected to strengthen to a Category 3 Hurricane this afternoon. Landfall is expected early Wednesday afternoon near Panama City, Florida. Tropical watches are not out for our area at this time. Possible gusty winds and rain fall for the Louisiana coast.



USACE

Monitoring.  Not looking at RNA impacts or lock closures at this time.



USCG

Monitoring.  No actions taken at this time.





PORTS

No Reports.



Pilots



              BAR - Monitoring.  Experiencing 6’ seas off SWP.  Watching closely.  No plans to shutdown operations at this time.



              CRPPA -  Monitoring.  Ops normal. No plans to shutdown at this time.



              NOBRA - No report.



              Federal - Monitoring.  Ops normal.  Don’t anticipate shutting down given current path.
